John and I decided to make a trip out to South Dakota and Wyoming while he had some vacation. It was a quick run that didn't produce a lot of photographs, but we sure got to see some great new sites. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset behind Devil'sTower, Wyoming. We just sat along the quiet country road in a pasture driveway and shot away. The two shots of Devil'sTower below are HDR shots. They were both made with a combination of 5 photos exposed in 2/3 stop increments then combined in the NIK HDR software.
Devil's Tower, Wyoming
We enjoyed it so much that night we were out the next morning at the crack of dawn.
These two horses looked so beautiful out in their pasture there where we were shooting I couldn't help but indulge myself in some shots.
A couple of cutie young antelope from Custer State Park in South Dakota. This is one of our favorite places to visit and I highly recommend a tour if you ever get a chance. Lots of wildlife up close and personal for your viewing pleasure. :-)
We are planning another trip in October to visit the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary. I'm looking forward to it!
