I've never tried to capture the moon so I did it at 4a.m. this morning. I used the 100-400mm lens with the 2x converter. Not happy with the sharpness so I think tonight I may try the lens without that converter. I was being eaten by mesquitos pretty bad, so I made quick work and got back in the house.
